Prior to venturing out on my own, I gained seven years of professional experience working as a graphic designer in the power sports industry and for the Department of Defense. As a Senior Graphic Designer and the Head of Customs for ArcticFX Graphics, a company specializing in vinyl sticker graphic kits for snowmobiles and other power sports vehicles, I honed my skills in both design and customer service. This position offered me the opportunity to work on projects for Polaris, the Minnesota Vikings, and X Games athletes Chris Burandt, Paul Thacker, and Keith Curtis. As the sole graphic designer for the Homeland Defense and Security Information Analysis Center (HDIAC) I created a wide range of materials, but my main focus was on producing the visuals and layout for their quarterly journal.
What exactly do I do?
Well, I like to work within many different areas of design: logo design, branding, marketing materials, ad campaigns, publication layout, social media graphics, t-shirt design, book covers, album art, motion graphics, photo collage, video editing, and Squarespace website design. In general, I just like making things that look cool.
